Here is a craft I did for February. I love it!

DJ enjoys following the vacuum around so we decided to put him on it. So he took a vacuum ride and loved it!

"Daddy, this is fun!"He tried all sorts of ways to ride it!

He even wanted to vacuum a little himself, what a great helper!

Peekaboo

DJ is learning to play peekaboo. He loves when you hide, but now he is trying to do that hiding which is super cute! (Sorry we decided to capture the moment in the middle of changing his diaper.)

Captain Molar

Grandma was babysitting while I went to the dentist the other day. DJ had been somewhat grumpy that day. While I was gone she noticed that he has a molar that is part of the way in already. So Jason has started calling him ...

The other day DJ had a little bit of an accident. I had given him some apple juice in his cup earlier. Apple juice does a bad trick on this little boy! We were over at Jessi's house and DJ was acting a little funny. I picked him up and he smelled WAY bad, but I could see anything. So I had Jason go get the diaper bag. We took off his jammies and this is what was waiting for us. We quickly took him straight to the bath tub and got him all cleaned up. A little apple juice goes a long way with this little guy!!!

DJ in a box

We went over to Jessi's house and the older kids were playing hide and go seek. One of the kids emptied out a box container full of blankets and DJ climbed inside. Then he played peekaboo with us. It was so cute!

Silly Boy

Dawson LOVES that he is getting bigger and more independent. His new favorite thing is climbing on things. He loves to pull himself up and onto bigger objects and sit or stand on them. He even loves standing on little things. Like tonight, there was a book on the floor and he went over and stood on it. It barely got him any higher, but that is where he wanted to stand. I am in the process of taking more pictures of him climbing on his favorite objects and will post those later. What a silly goose we have!

Nerf Guns

We now have Nerf guns around our house so the bullets are found everywhere! DJ loves putting them in his mouth and just walking around.

New Years Eve

I can't believe that the new year is upon us already!

I had my mom, Shai, and her friend Angela over to do a craft early in the morning. I have been wanting to do this for awhile and then when Shai got some people together for a Christmas craft I figured we needed to do a winter one too! So here is what we did, I love it!For the last day in 2010 we decided to go to a movie, Gulliver's Travels. It was really good. While at the movie I was holding DJ in the back and Kurt called so I stepped out of the theater, like any good movie goer would do and answered my phone. He and Shai didn't make any plans for New Years Eve so they called to see what we were doing. I told them to come over and we would play games.

So they played the Wii for awhile.
Shaileen and I painted our toenails, while everyone played the Wii.Then we played Who? What? Where? Jr.Then we played Sponge Bob Operation. I hadn't realized that Jason and Shaileen were on the pro level for this game.
I put DJ asleep when we were playing operation, but not before a couple of pictures.We then hung out in the front room mainly watching tv. We all got super tired! Kurt and Shai left about 11:30 so they celebrated New Years driving home. Jason and I made it without falling asleep to ring in the new year.See Shai got super tired!
