New Year's Eve

To start off New Year's Eve the boys and I went over to Grandma Alice's house.
Alex rocked out!
They played in the tub. This is the first time Alex actually enjoyed being in a tub.

Spending time with family is a great way to end and start a new year!  Jason had to work so unfortunately he didn't get to come play with us.  I left before midnight, but stayed up at home and kissed my sleeping boys when the new year began.  We have been so blessed this past year and are looking forward to having another great year!

Christmas 2011

This Christmas has been a great one! We woke up early and got ready, then woke up the kids. Why not sleep in when they kids are so young you might ask, because we had a lot of places to visit!  We took some pictures of them opening their presents at home, but they are on the other camera so they will come later.
After we opened all of the presents we got the boys ready and loaded up to head to Logan.

Mommy and Daddy totally excited for the long day!
We made it up to Grandma Nona's house and DJ and Alex of course found something to use as drums.

Grandpa Ed and Alex.  This was the first time they have been able to meet.

 The boys absolutely love music!

Grandma Nona gave the boys a fire engine and hat.

 The boys had fun playing!

We stopped by the Butler's house (DJ's grandparents).  It was good to see them again!
Then we went over to my parent's house.  They surprised the boys with a new car!
 They LOVED it!
Family picture with the new ride.
 Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!
We had a wonderful (exhausting) Christmas.  We are so blessed!
We are also so grateful for the birth of our Savior and this day to remember everything he has done for us!

Christmas Eve 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve!  We started out by going over to a neighbors to eat some breakfast.  It was yummy!  We left because DJ's birth family was coming over to drop off presents for the boys.
Brie and Spencer got DJ a spider that moves.  He loves it!
 Kisses on the cheek.
Then we went up to Snowbird because Jason wanted to get me one last Christmas present, a season pass to Snowbird.  It was such a nice day up there, warmer than the valley!
We let the boys play in the snow for awhile.  Alex didn't like it at all.

While Alex was napping DJ took down my holiday blocks and played with them.  He had a fun time stacking them into a tower, or at least trying to.

Santa made emails for the boys that we watched that night.  It was fun seeing him on our computer! Santa told them that they had been good this year and that we was going to bring them both a special present. DJ had to watch his message over and over again!
Later we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the night.  We had a lot of fun!
We had good food!  (DJ eating a candy out of Alex's hand)
Good fun! (DJ playing with Carson's wand)
Good Music

And of course a great time with the family!
The boys got to open one Christmas present at Grandma and Grandpa's house, of course it was their pajamas!  They are glow in the dark and matching!
We had a great Christmas Eve (even though it looks like DJ didn't in this picture) and went home and got all tucked into bed to await Santa.

We went up to Temple Square with our family to see the beautiful Christmas lights.
The boys all bundled up ready to see the lights.

We love spending time together, even if it is freezing!
Grandma, Grandpa and all of the grandkids.
Grandma and Grandpa brought hot chocolate and donuts to warm up the night. We really had a fun time going up to Temple Square this year.
