Playtime

DJ has always been a monkey.  He loves to climb and jump on things.   Here is his latest fascination...
doing flips and head-stands on the couch.
He can't get enough of it, silly boy.
 Alex just being cute!
The other day we decided we needed a singing party.  Jason turned up the radio REALLY loud and we started jamming!
Alex loves to put his arms up to the music.
 Dancing
 What a stud muffin!
While the music is blaring, DJ curls up on the couch with his blanket and falls asleep.
 Giving Daddy knuckles!
Daddy trying to keep DJ awake by singing to him.
 It didn't work.
Alex dancing with DJ in the background sleeping.
 Alex saying hello.
These boys make me so happy!

Going on a Ride

We went on an adventure today. We went to get the mail today, but in a different way than we usually do, we drove there.  Mommy got out our car and strapped us in.  We were so excited!
On our way to the mailbox.
We made it without crashing at all!
It was so fun 'driving' to the mailbox today.  We love our car!

Our little snowmobiler

The X-Games were on last week and Jason really got into them, especially the snowmobiling.  Jason had DJ watch them with him.  Little did we know how much DJ enjoyed it until later...
I was doing some laundry and just piled it on the floor and DJ ran out of the room saying, "snowmobile, snowmobile, snowmobile."  Then he ran back with this riding toy and placed it right on top of all the clothes.
He proceeded to try to tip over and make himself fall.

He would then jump back on the 'snowmobile' and do it again and again.

What a silly boy!  He has a great imagination and loves playing.  He still calls it his snowmobile, and I am not going to lie, I call it that too now.

January Family Dinner

It was our turn to host the family dinner this past month.  We were excited to get together with everyone!  Here are some pictures from the night.
Grandma and DJ making faces.

 Carson and Grandma Alice
Shai was getting ice from the fridge and low and behold a pen came out instead.
 We had fun playing cards!
 What a beautiful lady!
Not sure why, but Alex was in the sink.
Grandma pushing the kids around in the chair.
Boys playing X-Box.  Kurt apparently is winning.
 DJ and Maddie
 Shai and me

We always love getting together with family!  We were sad when Janica's family couldn't make it this month, hopefully next month~

Tubby Time

Tubby time has been a struggle for me for awhile because for some unknown reason Alex didn't like it.  I tried everything I could think of to get him to enjoy it but nothing helped.  Finally tonight for no apparent reason Alex loved it, YAY!

Kind of blown out but a cute picture of Alex playing.
They were having a lot of fun with the toys.
The boys showing their cute smiles!
 Splish, splash
 They had fun together!
 Getting clean
It was so fun watching them have fun and play in the bath tub together!
I have a nick-name for the boys: Skinny bones and Buddha belly.  Can you tell which one is which?

My New Car

Mommy has her old barbies out in the other room to take to the DI.  Daddy thought it would be fun for me to play with the Barbie car, and he was right!  I drove it around the house for awhile.  Then mommy put in two old Barbies for me to drive around.  Well, I thought it looked like fun so I jumped in the car with them.  If you look really close you can see my feet and in the backseat and I am sitting on the bumper.

Imagination

It has been so much fun lately because DJ is learning to use his imagination!  He pretends to be animals once in awhile.  Today he got in an empty diaper box and pretended to be driving a car.  So, we put one of his car toys in it to really give him the car feeling.

 Beep, Beep, Beep!
 Concentrating on driving.
Here he is with a goofy smile.
We sure have fun with our boy!
