Day of Love

We have made it a habit of going to get the mail in the boys are, so today we rode again.

It is so fun to watch them ride together!  Soon they both won't be able to fit in the car together and we will need to start taking turns, but as of now they enjoy riding together!

On the way home from work today we stopped by a park to let the boys get out and play, since it was such a nice day.  They loved sliding down the slides and running on the hills.  Alex enjoyed being able to climb up some of the stuff by himself!  Here are the boys sliding down the tube slide.

I am so grateful that I have these little ones!  They make our life so much fun and meaningful~

Labor Day Picnic

We went up the canyon for a family picnic. We had a blast.  My little brother did a time lapse video, so I stole it because it is super cool.

DJ eating candy in a little chair just his size.
What a stud, DJ made dutch oven dinners for everyone!
The kids found a fuzzy bug.
DJ and Daddy hiking up the mountain.
Kailee taking DJ on a scooter ride.
 We hiked in a cave.
DJ and Mommy in the cave.

After DJ found this helmet he wouldn't take it off.

Independence Day Parade

Mommy and Daddy woke me up super early today and I was a little but grumpy.
Can you blame me, look how comfy I was even with a foot out the side of my bed.
Here we are all ready to go in our red, white, and blue.
When we got there I had no idea what we were doing.  We just sat by the side of the road watching cars pass by.  Weird!
 Mommy and me
Daddy and me.  I did a good job sitting on the curb and not running around.
Great Grandma Alice, Great Grandpa Earl and me.  Mommy called them last night and invited them to come with us.  It was super fun having them there!
I got an American flag to wave.
I saw police on motorcycles.  I love watching motorcycles~
We saw a man with a weird mustache.  I think he is the mayor of Murray.
We saw some big jeeps that did cool tricks.
I got to run out and get lots of candy!
and eat lots of candy too~
 Happy 4th of July!
Here is a funny video of me at the parade.
I LOVE parades~

Adoption Day

On the 17th of May last year we went to the courthouse to finalize our adoption.  We had decided even before we knew about DJ we would recognize our children's adoption day.
We got Dawson a big sword for adoption day this year.  He loves the sword and if you tell him to get the dog he will go attack the dog with the sword, super cute!

New Years Eve

I can't believe that the new year is upon us already!

I had my mom, Shai, and her friend Angela over to do a craft early in the morning. I have been wanting to do this for awhile and then when Shai got some people together for a Christmas craft I figured we needed to do a winter one too! So here is what we did, I love it!For the last day in 2010 we decided to go to a movie, Gulliver's Travels. It was really good. While at the movie I was holding DJ in the back and Kurt called so I stepped out of the theater, like any good movie goer would do and answered my phone. He and Shai didn't make any plans for New Years Eve so they called to see what we were doing. I told them to come over and we would play games.

So they played the Wii for awhile.
Shaileen and I painted our toenails, while everyone played the Wii.Then we played Who? What? Where? Jr.Then we played Sponge Bob Operation. I hadn't realized that Jason and Shaileen were on the pro level for this game.
I put DJ asleep when we were playing operation, but not before a couple of pictures. We then hung out in the front room mainly watching tv. We all got super tired! Kurt and Shai left about 11:30 so they celebrated New Years driving home. Jason and I made it without falling asleep to ring in the new year.See Shai got super tired!
Happy 2011!
