Independence Day Parade

Mommy and Daddy woke me up super early today and I was a little but grumpy.
Can you blame me, look how comfy I was even with a foot out the side of my bed.
Here we are all ready to go in our red, white, and blue.
When we got there I had no idea what we were doing.  We just sat by the side of the road watching cars pass by.  Weird!
 Mommy and me
Daddy and me.  I did a good job sitting on the curb and not running around.
Great Grandma Alice, Great Grandpa Earl and me.  Mommy called them last night and invited them to come with us.  It was super fun having them there!
I got an American flag to wave.
I saw police on motorcycles.  I love watching motorcycles~
We saw a man with a weird mustache.  I think he is the mayor of Murray.
We saw some big jeeps that did cool tricks.
I got to run out and get lots of candy!
and eat lots of candy too~
 Happy 4th of July!
Here is a funny video of me at the parade.
I LOVE parades~

Fireworks

Daddy and Mommy took me on a short walk to the stake center church to watch the raceway's fireworks.  I had no idea what to expect.  By the time they started them I was really tired and only saw a couple because then I pulled my blanket over my head to go to sleep.  Here are some of the fireworks we saw.
 I now call fireworks, pretties...
 because they are pretty.

 This one looks like flowers.

This one is part of the finale.
Of course I didn't see all of them because I was under my blanket, but it was fun.

Fourth of July Fun

We sold two of our cars and bought another recently so needless to say we have spent quite some time at banks! We were probably not suppose to take pictures in the bank, but we had to do something with all that time.

Here is Dawson and Daddy playing at the bank.

Trying on Daddy's hat.
For the fourth celebration we went up to Ogden to watch Uncle Bill's band, Contagious, play. They did a really great job, like always! We had good food, good tunes, and good fireworks.
We have created a monster. Look how happy Dawson is with his Diet Coke. Whenever we take a drink of something he thinks he needs some too. The funny thing is, he doesn't realize that we are drinking and is content to put his mouth up to the can/cup for awhile. He will learn soon enough that something is suppose to come out when he does that.
