Happy Halloween

DJ was the cutest little biker for Halloween this year!  We prepped him on how to Trick-or-Treat, since last year he was too young to really know what was going on.  I have to admit he was a natural!

Daddy took me around to his work and Mommy's work today.

 After we got home from work we went to my aunt and uncle's house.  They throw a big party every year for Halloween.  It is so fun getting together with the cousins on the holidays.

  I loved running up to everyone's door.  Sometimes I would get confused I ran up to a couple of garages and knocked on them instead, but Mommy and Daddy reminded me that I needed to go to the front doors.

 All of the neat Jack-O-Lanterns were fun to see.  I got sidetracked a couple of times looking at those instead of knocking on the doors.

I am not sure why, but tonight when you knock on someones door and say trick-or-treat they will give you candy, crazy huh?  I love Halloween!

Who would have thought you could just go knock on a door and they would give you candy?  Tonight was a great night!

Utah vs. Oregon State

We went to another fun football game last night. A great time was had by all!  Since it was close to Halloween they had a tent set up for the kids to go through.  We took DJ and he loved it.  He got a bunch of candy, balloon, posters, and a cool light stick.  Dawson loves football.  When we are there he can't seem to take his eyes off the field, except when he is flirting with the girls!  He loved to yell at the football players.

Room Art

I have been working on making some new wall art for DJ's room.  I finally finished today, YAY! Here are how they turned out.  I really like them and am excited to see them up on his wall!

DJ loves sports so this is perfect for his room. 

Sewing and Ward Halloween Party

Halloween is quickly approaching and we have decided what DJ is going to be for Halloween this year, a biker, it will be a family theme.  Jason really wanted DJ to have chaps to complete his outfit so we took a trip to JoAnns yesterday to buy some fabric to create them.  Jason was positive that he would be able to sew them, so the adventure began!

My New Car

Mommy has her old barbies out in the other room to take to the DI.  Daddy thought it would be fun for me to play with the Barbie car, and he was right!  I drove it around the house for awhile.  Then mommy put in two old Barbies for me to drive around.  Well, I thought it looked like fun so I jumped in the car with them.  If you look really close you can see my feet and in the backseat and I am sitting on the bumper.

Daddy's Work

Mommy took me into visit Daddy at work.  It is fun going into Daddy's work because everyone thinks I am so cute and gives me candy.  We talked to some people then went out and ate some lunch.

Imagination

It has been so much fun lately because DJ is learning to use his imagination!  He pretends to be animals once in awhile.  Today he got in an empty diaper box and pretended to be driving a car.  So, we put one of his car toys in it to really give him the car feeling.

Playing at Shauna's

We were invited to Shauna's house for a get-together with some of Jason's old step sisters.  Shauna moved up to Rush Valley and is in the cutest house with a guest house and horse property.

 DJ also loved the slide.  This was the perfect size for him to go up and down by himself.

 They also have horse.  DJ loved seeing them and threw a fit when we walked away.
