So Thankful

Turkey day is here. Every other year we switch which family we celebrate Thanksgiving with. This year we were with Jason's family. Jessi, Brianna, Jordan, Bryndee, Brighton, Aunt Kay, Uncle Bill, and Joy came over. Grandpa Ed and Elaina were going to be coming too, but they got snowed in up in Idaho. I cooked dinner for everyone. I thought it was delicious. We ate a bunch and then the kids went downstairs and played while the "grown-ups" stayed upstairs and worked off our dinner by playing Just Dance. It was Joy and Kay's first time, and they totally loved it!

Me and the little one. This is his second Thanksgiving, but the first that he was able to eat the food at, and he devoured it all!!!

More dancing, yea the kids felt out and came upstairs to join us.
Since it is Thanksgiving I will say that I am very thankful for my family.
Jason is a great hubby and I love him so much!
I am also very thankful for my little man and his birth parents! I feel so blessed to have these 2 wonderful boys in my life!
I am also thankful for God's plan! Jason and I have been thinking a lot lately of His plan for us. We know that everything happens for a reason. We had many rough times while trying to have children, but I know that we were meant to have our little Dawson Jay with us! I am also so thankful that DJ has his birth family in his life, they are all great people. I am so thankful for temples and eternal families. We are so thankful for our foster kids too and the chance we have to grow because of them. I have so many things I am thankful for I can't name them all, but to sum it all up; the gospel and eternal families are things I couldn't do without!!!
