A Great Man

Early this morning my parents called to let us know that my Grandpa Earl passed away.  He was on his way to "work", the temple.  He loved working at the temple!  He was a great man that will be missed by everyone here on Earth.  He is a wonderful man that I am sure will keep doing missionary work in Heaven.  I can't imagine the reunion with his loved ones up in heaven, especially his little boy, Terry, that past away when he was only six years old.
I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!
Grandpa at a place he loved most, with the woman he loved most!

A lot of the family at their anniversary.
 True Love!
Thank you for everything you have done for me and the love you showed to everyone!

Christmas 2011

This Christmas has been a great one! We woke up early and got ready, then woke up the kids. Why not sleep in when they kids are so young you might ask, because we had a lot of places to visit!  We took some pictures of them opening their presents at home, but they are on the other camera so they will come later.
After we opened all of the presents we got the boys ready and loaded up to head to Logan.
Alex with his Cookie Monster
DJ playing with Elmo
Mommy and Daddy totally excited for the long day!
We made it up to Grandma Nona's house and DJ and Alex of course found something to use as drums.

Grandpa Ed and Alex.  This was the first time they have been able to meet.
 Daddy and Alex
 The boys absolutely love music!

Grandma Nona gave the boys a fire engine and hat.

 The boys had fun playing!

We stopped by the Butler's house (DJ's grandparents).  It was good to see them again!
Then we went over to my parent's house.  They surprised the boys with a new car!
 They LOVED it!
Family picture with the new ride.
 Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!!!
We had a wonderful (exhausting) Christmas.  We are so blessed!
We are also so grateful for the birth of our Savior and this day to remember everything he has done for us!

Christmas Eve 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve!  We started out by going over to a neighbors to eat some breakfast.  It was yummy!  We left because DJ's birth family was coming over to drop off presents for the boys.
Brie and Spencer got DJ a spider that moves.  He loves it!
 Kisses on the cheek.
Then we went up to Snowbird because Jason wanted to get me one last Christmas present, a season pass to Snowbird.  It was such a nice day up there, warmer than the valley!
We let the boys play in the snow for awhile.  Alex didn't like it at all.

While Alex was napping DJ took down my holiday blocks and played with them.  He had a fun time stacking them into a tower, or at least trying to.

Santa made emails for the boys that we watched that night.  It was fun seeing him on our computer! Santa told them that they had been good this year and that we was going to bring them both a special present. DJ had to watch his message over and over again!
Later we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for the night.  We had a lot of fun!
We had good food!  (DJ eating a candy out of Alex's hand)
Good fun! (DJ playing with Carson's wand)
Good Music

And of course a great time with the family!
The boys got to open one Christmas present at Grandma and Grandpa's house, of course it was their pajamas!  They are glow in the dark and matching!
We had a great Christmas Eve (even though it looks like DJ didn't in this picture) and went home and got all tucked into bed to await Santa.

Christmas Party

Jason's family gets together for Christmas every year, and this year was no different.  There was good food, good company, and good fun!  I forgot my camera, but luckily a cousin had one and snapped some moments for us!
Alex giving a cousin a gift from Victoria Secret, awkward!
 McKaylee lovin' Alex
 Alex giving kisses
 and having fun!
 Man purse?
 Mommy and Alex
Alex got a ball and the boys had fun rolling it back and forth to each other.
DJ for a xylophone and everyone loved playing with it.
Alex being the cutie that he is!
We had a great time at the party, but I wish I would have remembered my camera too!  The holidays are a great time to get together with family and celebrate.
