New Job

Out of the blue DJ got a new job.  I didn't even know he had applied for one. 

 He has his head-set on and is ready to start taking calls.  Wow, he really has grown up fast!  It seems just like yesterday that he was just a toddler~

Date Night

 Jason and I were lucky enough to have Aunt Joy come over to watch DJ last night while we went out.  Since we bought a motorcycle recently, when it is just the two of us we ride it.  

Here we are after we finally found a parking spot. Of course we found it after a ticket.

 We were planning on going to a piano bar, but I forgot to take my id so instead we cruised around.  We ended up by Ensign Peak.  There was a beautiful sunset that we enjoyed.

 Here we are with the city behind us.  We don't have helmet hair that bad.

At our monthly family dinner DJ got to enjoy his first Creamy.  To say the least, he LOVED it!

I forgot my camera, but thankfully Kurt took some great shots!

 After he enjoyed the yummy Creamy, we stripped him down and washed him off in the hose.  Then we played wanted to play with the hose, until it got him wet.

Zebra

We went to the zoo again and I had to add these 2 pictures because DJ LoVeS zebras!

Uptown Fun

Jason had a wonderful idea for a summer afternoon.  Dawson loves to see buses so he suggested taking a bus then trax uptown to walk around and play for the afternoon.  (Sorry lots of pictures so it is long.)

Here we are on the bus.  DJ was super excited to ride on a bus.

 So excited in fact that this is how his first bus ride went.

 When we got uptown we walked around and DJ loved seeing the horses, not surprising.

 DJ loves to smell flowers and is really good at not touching them.  You wouldn't believe how many of these he had to bend down and smell.

Dinos, trucks, and books

Dawson is all boy!  Here is some proof.

We found his toy dinosaurs the other day and he loved playing with them.

 He also loves to drive his trucks around.  Here he is when he decided to drive the truck on the blinds.  What a goose~

 I caught him in his room like this.  He climbed up in his rocking chair with a book.  He loves to read.

 This one I just thought was super cute.  Again, all boy, loves running around with no clothes on.

We are so grateful for our little goose!

Newest Craft

The girls got together and did a 'summer' craft.  Here are some pictures of the event.

Pool Fools

Kurt and Shai invited us to go swimming today.  It wasn't the warmest day, but since we are pool fools we knew we had to go! 

They had a basketball hoop so DJ was in love!
