Coloring

DJ has really started to enjoy coloring.  We decided to buy him a coloring book where the markers only work on those pages so we wouldn't have a mess on everything.

Cabellas Fishing

It is a long video, the first minute or so you could skip.  We had a lot of fun 'fishing'!

Potty

Dawson is very interested in going potty.  He has not actually gone yet, but soon I think!  Since we wants to sit on the toilet we decided he needed a special seat.  DJ picked an Elmo seat.
 What a cute boy!

'31'

We went to a good friends house on Jason's birthday to play games.  We had a lot of fun.  During the day I had made a gluten free cake and took it over to their house to surprise him.
31 candles almost burned down the house!
Happy Birthday to my sweetheart~

Motorcycle

DJ absolutely LOVES the motorcycle.  Today when Daddy got home from work DJ and I were outside, so Daddy took DJ on a ride around the block.
Daddy and Dawson on the bike.
Both of my boys can't get enough of the motorcycle.

Don't worry this was totally safe, Jason has a helmet on!

Tree

A couple weeks ago I posted a comment on facebook concerning a huge tree I saw on a walk.  It was a beautiful tree and I couldn't believe there weren't any kids up climbing in it because I would have been in it all day and night.  I got a lot of comments saying that I should have climbed it and that it reminded people of the story The Giving Tree.  So tonight DJ and I went on a walk again with the purpose of climbing that tree.  I am happy to say that DJ and I spent some time up in the tree together.
Here is the beautiful tree!
I do have some good news, you could tell kids do play in it, yay!!!
 DJ sitting in the tree.
What a stud!  He loved being in the tree.
Here we are.  I was a little nervous at first to climb up in with DJ because it is always harder to get down and I was afraid DJ would fall when I was climbing, but the tree was huge so I climbed up.
DJ couldn't get enough of being in the tree.  He didn't want to get down.

Here we are both up in the tree.  I hope he enjoys tree climbing as much as I did when I was little!

Saying good-bye tree, we will be back soon!

Bailey Family Reunion

The Bailey's get together every year and have a family reunion.  It is held up in Blacksmith Fork Canyon, Hyrum.  It was cold and rained most of the time, but fun times were had anyways.
DJ really liked his cousins big truck and wanted to play with it the whole time. Too bad Trae didn't like that idea!
Because of the rain the worms came out on the volleyball court.
 DJ loved the swings!
He is such a big boy, swinging on a big boy swing all by himself!  Where did the time go?
 DJ and Mommy
 Daddy and DJ
A fire was in demand with the cold weather.
The men took control with fuel...
 and an entire pallet.
DJ loved the streams running in the grass.  He would throw rocks in them until the rain got too hard and I made him get under the pavilion.
 What a stud!
Bill played his guitar and the boys danced.
We even played some Minute to Win it games.  DJ loved this game and was actually pretty good at bouncing the balls out of the box.  He whined until I strapped it on him, and again when I took it off.
Thank you to everyone who helped out to make it a great time!

Daddy and DJ

Dawson loves to help whenever he can!  Jason was making some cupcakes for a family reunion and DJ got to help.

Utah State Fair

The fair is in town and we really wanted to take DJ this year because we knew he would love it.  Here are our some of our adventures.
We first stopped by some big tractors.
 DJ loved sitting on them
Then we went to Little Hands on the Farm.  The kids got to pretend to be farmers.
We first got our aprons.
Then we got to feed and milk a cow.
We went to the orchard and picked an apple.
 We planted a seed.
 It grew into a carrot.
We drove a tractor around the farm.
We got to pet a sheep and got some wool from it.
We gathered some eggs from the chickens.
Then we put everything we collected into the correct bin.
DJ got a dollar for all that hard work.  He was super excited!
He bought himself a granola bar with the dollar he earned.
DJ knew that he was going to ride a pony when we went to the fair.  So when we saw the ponies he about flipped out.
DJ's pony was named Red.  We said "Go Red Go!"
DJ's favorite part was all of the animals that we saw.  DJ and daddy looking at the cows.
DJ saying bye to the cows.
 DJ and a sheep.
He loved climbing on the fences to look at all of the animals.
 Hi sheep
He loved all of the animals!
My uncle Tom raises goats and he had them at the fair.  When we stopped by to say hi he took DJ over to feed the goats peanuts.  This was the highlight of the whole fair experience.
It was so fun watching DJ feed the goats because he has been scared of goats because he thinks they make a scary sound.
He couldn't get enough of feeding the goats!
Uncle Tom had to go because a goat of his was in a competition but he left us some peanuts to feed the goats.
We also saw the pigs.  Now DJ is scared of pigs because he thought they were big and made a scary sound.
I am so glad we went out to the fair.  We had great family time.  I sure do love my boys!
