Ohio - Day 7

Today has been a nice day, the rain has stopped.  It is still cold and windy, but no rain!  We decided to get decked out in our Harley shirts.  The boys look so stinking cute.
When DJ first saw the shirt he thought it was scary.  Ha ha, then he saw that it match Alex's and he loved it.

We visited Ohio State University today.  DJ was so excited to go see where the football players play.  It is a humongous stadium!  It was neat because their seats get really close to the field.
A fun picture of the seats.
Daddy and the boys at the OSU Stadium.
DJ loved chasing up and down the stairs and climbing on the fences.
DJ can never get enough of climbing stairs by himself.
The architecture of the stadium is very impressive.
We also visited the Temple again to take some pictures.  Too bad we didn't bring our big tripod on this trip because we weren't able to take a complete family picture in front of the Columbus Temple.
They had a nativity set out and DJ loved looking at the animals.
DJ can't get enough of walking on things, even though he fell of something on Saturday and scraped his face.  He is such a dare-devil!

Mommy and boys in front of the temple.
I am so grateful for our experiences here!
We are excited to go to the temple again in six months as a family!!!
 Daddy and Alex
When we were leaving the temple grounds DJ went over and checked out baby Jesus.  It was super sweet!
We are so thankful for our family!
(our extended family and those that have made it in through the amazing gift of adoption!!!)
Okay, we went out to dinner at an amazing restaurant, Steak and Shake!
They were so good with the kids!  They each got a cool hat.
Alex was sleeping for the first part.  As soon as the food came out he woke up.
They had cool cars for the kids you put together.  Here is DJ ripping the one I put together for him.
Jason working on the second car.
He is so handsome, even with a silly hat on.
There were stickers to jazz up the cars, so I decided to jazz up DJ's face.  Alex was probably glad he was sleeping during this point so he didn't get stickers all over him.
Jason is so proud of his finished car.
Yeah, that is an eight-ball on DJ's forehead.
He enjoyed trying to put on stickers.

We are having a lot of fun spending time with our boys!

Ohio - Day 6

These first 2 pictures are actually from the night before, but we took them after the blog was up so I decided to start with them.
DJ absolutely loves his brother Alex.  How precious is this picture, Alex is sleeping and DJ kissed him goodnight.
Our next door neighbors were fighting and were being really loud.  We were curious about what they were fighting about so we decided to listen in.
Oh my, he is a little man!
The forecast for today was rainy and cold all day, so we decided to drive around.  We bought the boys toy doggies from Harley Davidson.
When Alex gets tired he is very temperamental.  He doesn't like DJ to even get close to him.  We wanted a picture with both of the boys and their dogs, but this is what we ended up with.  DJ decided to copy Alex and start crying.
They really are best buds when they aren't tired!
Jason decided to start collecting poker chips from all of the Harley Davidson stores that we go to.  This will be like a map of the places the boys have been.  Since it was rainy and cold our plan was to drive around to all the Harleys in the area.  There have been quiet a few in the area.
They love their poker chips!  They say the city and state where you got them.

It was been a good day, we are hoping tomorrow isn't rainy so we can venture outside more without just running back and forth to the car.  Ohio is a gorgeous state!

A Bitter/Sweet Day

Today we went to the library to sign the adoption papers, it was so bitter/sweet.

Alex and his girlfriend Sheridan.  We were so happy we got to meet her!
DJ eating a sucker he got from Harley Davidson.  Yes we went to another one.  Jason decided that he wants to collect the poker chips they sell that say where they are from.  Then we decided to buy some for both the boys, so they have a map of where they have been.
A picture of the beautiful weather.
 Alex playing with the phone.
Jason tried to hide that he was playing with the toys by himself, but I caught him.
DJ and Alex playing together with toys.
 Alex playing with his glasses.
DJ had to try them on too
If you noticed Alex and DJ wore their Steelers shirts today, Ashley's favorite football team.
