Ohio - Day 3

Today we woke up and hung out in the room for awhile.  We decided that we would go around Columbus and see what we could find.  So here are our adventures...
DJ being cute walking on a ledge.
This is right before he fell on his face and scratched it all up.
He has discovered marching.  It is super cute!
Daddy and DJ running up and down the street!
We visited the Columbus capitol building.
Sitting on a cannon in front of the capitol.
DJ loved exploring the capitol because we let him choose where we went.
 DJ checking out President Lincoln.
The bottom floor of the capitol reminded us of a dungeon, it was really neat.
 What is he looking at?
 An amazing ceiling!
It was fun to see all of the huge paintings.
Here is the state of Ohio's seal.  We thought it is very appropriate!
 The great city of Columbus.
We found the Columbus Temple.  We thought we would be able to see it from far away, but since Ohio is flat, well you couldn't see it until you where right there.  It is super tiny compared to the Temples in Salt Lake.  The stake center next door is bigger than the Temple.
 What a beautiful sight!
There is a Dublin, Ohio so Jason and I just had to venture over there.  All the way we, of course, talked in our best Irish accent!  This is our picture from Dublin.
"We are in Dublin!" (said in an Irish accent)
DJ was such a trooper today.  We spent most of the day in the car and there was no complaining.  He took a really long nap in the car.
I had to add this picture because DJ took it of himself.
We had a good day, but missed seeing Ashley and Alex! We are planning on seeing them again tomorrow for another fun adventure!

  1. Hey Jason! I just found your blog. Congrats on the new boy! You have a very beautiful family. I guess you aren't too far from us right now, eh? We're still living in Detroit, Michigan.

My son Shade saw your family pictures and said, "I want to go to their house when we wake up."
