On Sunday the 10th of July DJ discovered that he could climb out of his crib. I watched how he did it and he was using his changing table to climb on, so we took that out of his room. After we left his room he was crying and then a loud 'thud' came with a pause then more crying. Sure enough DJ climbed out of his crib without any help. I am guessing it was pretty scary looking down before the jump, but that didn't stop him. Well because of this we decided that we didn't really want him hurting himself by jumping out of the crib so we changed his crib into a toddler bed.
The crib comes with a small toddler side, but it wasn't big enough to keep him from falling out of bed during the night, so we got a bigger one.

He is such a fun little guy and we love him so much. It was sad to change his crib into a bed because that means he is growing up too fast.
