Uptown Fun

Jason had a wonderful idea for a summer afternoon.  Dawson loves to see buses so he suggested taking a bus then trax uptown to walk around and play for the afternoon.  (Sorry lots of pictures so it is long.)

Here we are on the bus.  DJ was super excited to ride on a bus.

 So excited in fact that this is how his first bus ride went.

 When we got uptown we walked around and DJ loved seeing the horses, not surprising.

 DJ loves to smell flowers and is really good at not touching them.  You wouldn't believe how many of these he had to bend down and smell.

 We told him to fold his arms and this is the picture we got.  If only we could get him to do this during a prayer it would be great.

 DJ loves water!  He really wanted to put his shoes in it.

 We walked down to Gateway, but had to stop and look at all the water on our way.

 How much more relaxed can you get eating lunch?

 Riding the bus home DJ was more awake and wanted to sit like a big boy. 

We had a super fun day spending time as a family.  These are the moments I will always cherish~
