Ohio - Day 9

Today was our last full day in Ohio.  We have very mixed emotions about leaving.  We are super excited to get home and out of the hotel room we have been in, but then on the other hand we are sad knowing that today was our last day with Ashley for awhile!
Alex cruising around in the car playing with a police car.  Luckily we haven't had any other encounters with police cars!
DJ playing with a fire engine.  Silly boy!
We decided to play in the car too.
We have spent a lot of time in the car and the boys have done really well!
We were driving around today and Jason had to take a picture of this car.
We decided to go into 'German Town' to see a castle.  Here it is, unfortunately it was turned into apartments and you can't go in.  We were bummed!
While walking in 'German Town' we saw this...  A lady's car being towed away.  If you look closely the lady is disputing it with the guy and there is clearly a sign behind her that says do not block driveway.
Here is our sweet ride!  We were hoping to get a charger, but this was the only car of the size we wanted.  Too bad!!!  We decided to give her a name, Gertrude, Gertie for short.  She ended up being a really good car!

We stopped at a park in 'German Town' and saw this tree, crazy!!!
Here is a monument of the guy the park is named after, Schiller.
We went over to the pond to see the ducks.  The boys loved seeing them and DJ couldn't stop quacking.
 DJ watching the ducks.
 My handsome boys!
 Mommy and Alex
 Warning, this is gross!
To draw the ducks in closer to us, since we didn't take anything to feed them, we spit in the water.  This duck fell for it.

We loved all of the houses in this little town!
DJ posing for a picture before we got back in the car.
If we lived here we would have to be millionaires because I would want a house like this.
We went down and saw Ashley today.  We went to the mall and sat on Santa's lap.  DJ was so excited and couldn't wait to see Santa, but Alex didn't want anything to do with him.  I will post the picture we got when I get it in the computer.
We can't say enough great things about Ashley and the amazingly, unselfish gift she has given us.  It was hard to say goodbye!  We will miss seeing her, but know that she is only a phone call away!
