The Name

We have talked about it and we have chosen the name Dawson Jay "DJ". His birthparents choose his middle name, which is DJ's great grandpa's name. We are really happy that he will have that connection.

Today we went out and registered at Babies R Us today. The lady we talked to just looked at us like we were crazy. She asked when he is due and we told her November 19th and she really thought that we lost it. We then explained to her that we are adopting. She said that she was wondering if we were at the right place before we told her that. It was really surreal shopping for our little boy! We did make the first two purchases today: 2 onesies, one says Party! My Crib 3 a.m. and the other says Utes fan since birth. It was a busy day, but we had so much fun and can hardly wait!
